‘Maheshum Marutiyum’, ‘Pakalum Pathiravum’, ‘Lovefully Yours Veda’, and ‘Mariyam’ are the other interesting films releasing this month.

Nivin Pauly’s much-anticipated movie, Thuramukham is finally releasing on 10 March. The film couldn’t hit the screens during Christmas last year due to legal hurdles.
This apart, some major films like Maheshum Marutiyum, Pakalum Pathiravum, Lovefully Yours Veda, and Mariyam are releasing this month.
Popular Malayalam producer Listin Stephen announced Thuramukam’s release date on social media. The film has been facing many difficulties related to production and legal issues.
Initially, it was slated for release in early 2022b but was postponed to June and then for Christmas.
Thuramukham is directed by Rajeev Ravi. It casts Nivin Pauly Joju George, Indrajith, Sudev Nair, Manikandan, Arjun Asokan, Nimisha Sajayan, Poornima Indrajith, and Darshana Rajendran in prominent roles.
It is being released by Listin Stephen’s Magic Frames banner. The teaser and trailer received the maximum number of views on YouTube upon their release.
A romantic comedy, Maheshum Marutiyum features Asif Ali and Mamta Mohandas in lead roles.
Vijay Babu, Varun Dhara, Rony Raj, Prashanth Alexander, Kunchan, Idavela Babu, Manu Raj, and Divya are the other actors.
Maheshum Marutiyum is directed by Sethu. Maniyanpilla Raju is producing the movie in association with VSL Film House. It is slated for release on 10 March.
Faiz Siddik is the cinematographer of the movie while the music is composed by Kedar.
Pakalum Paathiravum stars Kunchacko Boban, Rajisha Vijayan, Manoj KU, Seetha, and Tamizh in prominent roles.
It is directed by Ajay Vasudev who earlier helmed commercial films like Shylock and Masterpiece. He is entering a new genre with Pakalum Paathiravum.
Nishad Koya scripted it. Sree Gokulam Movies is the production house. The movie will be released on 3 March.
Lovefully Yours Veda will see Rajisha Vijayan and Venkatesh coming together after Standup. The movie also casts Gautham Vasudev Menon, Sreenath Bhasi, Anikha Surendran, Sruthi Jayan, and Nilja K Baby in prominent roles.
It is all set to release in theatres on March 3.
Debutant Praghesh Sukumaran is directing it. Radhakrishnan Khalayil and Ruvin Viswam are the producers. Rahul Raj composed the music.
It is scripted by Babu Vailathur. The story revolves around college campus friendship, love, and student politics.
Mariyam is a small-budget movie directed by the husband-wife duo Bibin Joy and Shiha Bibin. The film received rave reviews upon its screening at a premiere show in November last year.
Mrinalini Susan George plays the title role in the film. It will hit the big screens on 3 March.
A parallel cinema Mariyam has been screened at many international film festivals. It received critical acclaim and awards.
The movie features Joseph Chilamban, Chris Venu Gopala, and Prasad Kannan in key roles.
