Allari Naresh to turn writer for Sudigaadu 2

Before rising to fame as a protagonist, Allari Naresh tested his luck as an assistant director under his father EVV Satyanarayana. This short stint has equipped him to make choices as per his taste.

Despite earning acclaim as a comedian, Naresh has been more choosy in his career as he opted for select projects over quantity.

At the same time, he showcased his versatility by portraying serious characters in films such as Naandi (2021), Itlu Maredumilli Prajaneekam (2022), and Ugram (2023).

But the biggest hit in his career is the movie Sudigaadu (2012). It is a remake of the Tamil movie Tamij Padam.

The name may be a remake of a Tamil movie, but it has been spoofed in several movies.

Released in 2012, Sudigaadu worked out well at the box office. But the film is not as much a blockbuster as his previous hits.

But after 12 years, Allari Naresh got the idea to make a sequel to the flick — Sudigaadu 2.

What is special about Sudigaadu 2 is that the actor is writing the story for the film.

He revealed the news at the trailer launch of Aa Okkati Adakku held in Hyderabad on Monday, 22 April.

Allari Naresh also announced that Sudigaadu 2 will be released in theatres in 2025.

But it remains to be seen if he can succeed as a writer t00.
