Teaser of Tovino Thomas-starrer ‘Nadikar’ launched

After the success of Anweshippin Kandethum (2024), Tovino Thomas will next be seen in Nadikar, directed by Jean Paul.

The Malayalam movie stars Tovino, Soubin Shahir, and Bhavana in lead roles. Tovino appears as superstar David Padikkal in the film and the story revolves around his character.

On Friday, 5 April, Malayalam Superstar Mammootty launched the film’s teaser via his social media handles.

The Nadikar teaser glimpses into the life of an obsessed Superstar named David Pallikkal. The movie revolves around the lives of people associated with cinema.

The Malayalam movie was in the news recently as its original name — Nadikar Thilakam — evoked anger among yesteryear Tamil superstar Shivaji Ganeshan’s fans. Shivaji was fondly referred to as “Nadikar Thilakam” by his fans for his exceptional acting skills.

Upon the request of Prabhu, son of Shivaji Ganeshan, the makers changed the film’s title to Nadikar.

Last week, the maker released the first single from Nadikar. It showcased the childhood of David Padikal. The emotional tune also offered a glimpse into the emotional backstory of David Padikal.

Nadikar also casts Dhyan Sreenivasan, Shine Tom Chacko, Lal, Sreenath Bhasi, Veena Nandakumar, Suresh Krishna, Aju Varghese, and Anoop Menon in prominent roles.

Mythri Movie Makers and God Speed Productions are jointly producing it. The film is expected to be released on 3 May.
