Udhayanidhi hails Captain Miller

Dhanush’s new flick Captain Miller is winning hearts and has been accepted widely by audiences and critics.

The movie has been hailed by celebrities for its unique topic.

Captain Miller has a strong subject based on the temple entry rights of oppressed people. It also speaks about the greatness of the human rights struggle.

Actor-politician Udhayanidhi Stalin is the latest celebrity to praise Dhanush and Captain Miller team.

He added: “This film powerfully highlights the struggle of the oppressed people for the right to temple entry, skillfully made with the broader narrative of human rights within the backdrop of the freedom struggle.”

An actor himself, Udhayanidhi Stalin always shares his opinions about new releases. He previously congratulated the Jigarthanda Double X (2023) team for its success.

Captain Miller is Pongal winner

Captain Miller has emerged as the Pongal winner in Tamil Nadu by earning around ₹7 crore. The Dhanush-starrer collected a gross of ₹14.20 crore worldwide.

It received a positive response in other South Indian states, too.

Meanwhile, Sivakarthikeyan’s Ayalaan (2024) earned around ₹4 crore on the opening day.

Vijay Sethupathi-Kartrina Kaif’s Merry Christmas (2024), helmed by Sriram Raghavan, and Arun Vijay’s Mission Chapter 1 (2024) also got a good response.
