Pradep’s last film, Dragon, is about the life of a happy-go-lucky guy who takes everything for granted. It turns topsy-turvy when his lover dumps him for his irresponsible behaviour.
It was produced by Kalpathi S Aghoram, Kalpathi S Ganesh, and Kalpathi S Suresh, with music composed by Leon James. The cinematography is handled by Niketh Bommi.
Pradeep Ranganathan’s directorial Love Today, a quirky romantic drama, was also a major hit. It revolved around its protagonists — Pradeep and Ivana — who are made to exchange their phones for a day and its consequences.
Meanwhile, Mamitha Baiju rose to fame with the Malayalam film Premalu, a romantic drama set in Hyderabad city
