Malayalam actor Nivin Pauly and Tamil director Ram have come together for their upcoming film Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai.
Nivin Pauly, Anjali, and Soori play the lead roles in the movie.
Expectations are running high for Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai the trailer of which was released recently.
The two-minute trailer hinted that the flick is a fantasy romance drama set in a contemporary world.
In the trailer, Nivin Pauly explains his 4000-year-old love story to Soori on a train journey. He says he met Anjali for the first time as a queen.
The world premiere of Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai will be held at the International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR) on Tuesday, 30 January.
Nivin Pauly disclosed this in a social media post.
“The cosmic clock ticks its final tock! Our film tiptoes into the world at Rotterdam. All set for a wild ride with its World Premiere today at Rotterdam under the Big Screen Competition. Be with us as we unfold the magic on the global stage,” the actor wrote on Facebook.
Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. NK Ekhambram is the cinematographer.
Suresh Kamatchi produced it under the banner of V House Productions.
This is Nivin Pauly’s second Tamil film after his Richie (2017), a failure at the box office.
The Malayalam actor has an exciting lineup of films this year, including Malayalee from India and Varshangalkku Shesham.
