Chennai floods: Ajith Kumar’s gesture towards Aamir Khan, Vishnu Vishal, and their villa community members goes viral

On 5 December, Vishnu Vishal sought help when water was entering his house in Karapakkam. He was rescued by the local administration.

Bollywood star Aamir Khan, Tamil actor Vishnu Vishal, and his distress call to the local authorities for help during the Chennai floods were all in the news on Tuesday, 5 December.

The social media and internet were splashed with visuals of Aamir Khan, Vishnu Vishal, and Jwala Gutta being rescued from the floods.

On Tuesday morning, Vishnu Vishal took to X saying that water was entering his house in Karapakkam and the level was rising badly.

Bollywood actor Aamir Khan was in the city for the past few months with his ailing mother undergoing treatment at a medical centre in Chennai. He was staying in the same villa community at Karapakkam where Vishnu Vishal lives. They were all rescued after Vishu Vishal’s call for help went viral.

Soon after, Vishnu Vishal posted pictures and gave updates about the rescue process. He also thanked government officials for helping them in time.

“More than 30 people were taken out from our villa community with many old people as well. Thanks to the firemen who helped us all..,” he wrote.

Ajith Kumar’s helping hands

After Vishnu Vishal and Aamir Khan were rescued, Tamil Superstar Ajith Kumar met both actors. He also helped their villa community members by making travel arrangments.

According to Vishnu Vishal, Ajith learnt about their situation through a common friend.

“The very helpful Ajith Sir came to check in on us and helped with travel arrangements for our villa community members,” Vishnu Vishal wrote on X.
