The release date of Sundeep Kishan and Varsha Bollamma’s upcoming movie Ooru Peru Bhairavakona has been officially confirmed by the makers. The film will have a grand theatrical release on 9 February 2024.
However, the highly-anticipated Telugu film Tillu Square starring Siddhu Jonnalagadda has also secured the same date.
Despite this, Ooru Peru Bhairavakona appears to face no potential risk, given that the two films belong to different genres — one is a youthful entertainer and the other is a horror-thriller.
The success of Virupaksha (2023) and Maa Oori Polimera 2 (2023) may undoubtedly contribute to Sundeep’s movie, provided the content is good.
Siddhu and Sundeep are unlikely to face any major challenges with their respective films at the Telugu box office.
Despite several delays and touch-ups, Tillu Square kept Siddhu’s fans waiting for a long time. The impact of Sankranthi releases may not affect his film as it will hit the screens on 9 February.
Director VI Anand, known for his distinct filmmaking with Tiger, Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada (2016), and Okka Kshanam (2017), is confident of making a successful comeback with Bhairavakona, despite the challenges he had faced with Disco Raja (2020).
