Nani to make OTT debut with Meet Cute

Actor Nani is venturing into OTT streaming with an anthology, Meet Cute. It is directed by his sister Deepthi Ganta and presented by Nanis’s Wall Poster Cinema banner. Sony LIV has acquired its rights.

Meanwhile, as part of promotions, the makers released the teaser of Meet Cute. It shows a cute coincidental meeting between strangers, pleasant conversations, and a rollercoaster of emotions.

The teaser of the five-episode series gives us a glimpse of the emotions involved: Love, anger, hope, fear, surprise, heartbreak, trust, and happiness. It ends with a note that raises curiosity: “Relationships don’t fail because of little fights, but when you stop fighting.”

Deepthi Ganta, in her maiden attempt, makes a great impact as a writer and director.

While her writing is mature, the direction is equally impressive and the stories look relatable.

Sathyaraj and Rohini Molleti are in the main roles. Adah Sharma, Varsha Bollamma, Akanksha Singh, Ruhani Sharma, Sunaina, and Sanchita Poonacha play the female leads in it.

Ashwin Kumar, Shiva Kandukuri, Deekshit Shetty, Govind Padmasoorya, and Raja made the narrative appealing with the marvellous portrayal of their respective characters.

The cinematography by Vasanth Kumar and the editing by Garry BH go hand in hand to offer us a beautiful visual experience.

Vijay Bulganin sets the right mood with his background score. Avinash Kolla’s masterwork as a production designer is grand. The premiere date of Meet Cute will be revealed soon.

Pushpa 2 team in Bangkok

Allu Arjun and Sukumar’s Pushpa 2 is one of the much-awaited films from Tollywood. Since the first part was a huge hit, Arjun’s fans and audience are eagerly waiting for the sequel.

The project recently went on floors in Hyderabad, where the shooting of the teaser took place. At present, the cast and crew are in Bangkok where some high-octane action sequences are being shot.

Meanwhile, Allu Arjun went to Africa with his wife Sneha Reddy to attend a friend’s wedding. He will join the Pushpa 2 team in Bangkok soon after the wedding.

Speculations are rife that the teaser of Pushpa 2 will be released soon. An official confirmation is awaited though.

The film stars Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Daali Dhananjaya, Sunil and Ajay Ghosh in key roles. Mythri Movie Makers is producing it.

Though Pushpa turned out to be a blockbuster hit, rumours are agog that the Sukumar directorial has a deficit of ₹40 crore!
