Shiva Rajkumar-Chandru join hands for the third time

Kannada Superstar Dr Shiva Rajkumar has teamed up again with ace director R Chandru for the third time. The project will be bankrolled by RC Studios. This is the sixth production venture of the banner owned by Chandru.

Chandru announced the news on social media on Monday, 1 April, marking the 14th anniversary of the actor’s superhit flick Mylari (2010).

In his post, Chandru wrote: “On this auspicious occasion of the 14th anniversary of the Kannada superhit film Mylari, I am happy to announce my collaboration with Karunada Chakravarthi Dr Shiva Rajkumar for a new film with your blessings. Thank you.”

The filmmaker also announced that the movie will hit the floors soon. The title and details about the cast and crew are awaited.

Shiva Rajkumar and Chandru collaborated earlier for Myalri, a blockbuster hit. Later, the actor did a cameo role in the director’s Kabzaa (2023), a pan-India flick that failed to meet the mark. Though it did not do magic, the end credits announced a sequel titled Kabzaa 2.

Shiva Rajkumar is now shooting for Bhairathi Ranagal. His director-wife Geetha Shiva Rajkumar is helming and producing it under her banner Geetha Pictures.

The Kannada movie stars Rukmini Vasanth, Rahul Bose, Shabeer Kallarakkal, and Chaya Singh in key roles.

The Kannada Superstar recently appeared in director Yogaraj Bhat’s Karatka Damanaka, where he shared the screen space with choreographer-actor-director Prabhu Deva. It received a mixed response at the box office.
