A native of Karnataka’s Mangaluru, actress Shilpa Shetty is currently shooting in Mysuru for the next pan-Indian project directed by Prem: KD-The Devil.
The Tulu-speaking Shilpa Shetty, who hails from a Bunt family, has acted in a handful of Kannada films in the past including Preethsod Thappa (1998), Ondagona Baa (2003), and Auto Shankar (2005).
Now, she has returned to Kannada with KD-The Devil after a gap of 18 years. The film features Dhruva Sarja in the lead role.
The actress recently shared a video with her fans about her love for the world-famous Indian sweet — Mysore Pak.
In the video, she was seen savouring different kinds of Mysore Pak including the authentic Mysore Pak made from a mix of ghee, sugar, gram flour, and cardamom.
Apart from Dhruva Sarja and Shilpa Shetty, KD-The Devil features a long list of star actors including “Crazy Star” V Ravichandran, Reeshma Nanaiah, and Sanjay Dutt.
Made under the KVN Productions banner, the movie will also be released in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Hindi.
Shilpa Shetty has acted alongside V Ravichandran, the showman of Sandalwood, in two of her Kannada movies in the past — Preethsod Thappa and Ondaga Baa.
