The Pet Detective shooting begins

The shooting of Malayalam actor Sharaf U Dheen’s upcoming film The Pet Detective has commenced.

The team shared the shooting and pooja ceremony pics of The Pet Detective on social media.

The movie stars Sharaf U Dheen and Anupama Parameswaran in the lead roles.

It marks the debut production venture of Sharaf U Dheen.

The actor revealed that the team discussed the story during the COVID-19 lockdowns. He decided to bankroll the project as no producers were investing in it.

The Pet Detective is directed by debutant Praneesh Vijayan, who co-wrote Omar Lulu’s Happy Wedding (2016).

The Malayalam movie was written by Praneesh Vijayan and Jai Vishnu, who previously co-wrote Madhura Manohara Moham (2023).

It has music composed by Rajesh Murugesan. The cinematography is by Anend C Chandran and the editing is by Abhinav Sunder Nayak.

Meanwhile, Sharaf U Dheen is awaiting the release of his new venture Hello Mummy, which features Aishwarya Lekshmi as the female lead.

The fantasy-comedy drama is directed by debutant filmmaker Vaishakh Elans and is scripted by Falimy-fame Sanjo Joseph.
