Senior actor Charmme has transitioned from being an actor to a film producer in the Telugu film industry.
Despite pairing up with several star heroes in Telugu, her venture into production has not been so successful.
She now produces films with director Puri Jagannadh, mostly staying put in Mumbai.
Rumours have been circulating about her relationship with Puri Jagannadh for a long time. However, she maintains that Puri is her mentor and a close family friend.
In a recent interview, Charmme Kaur expressed her admiration for Bollywood star hero Hrithik Roshan. The actor admitted that she was disappointed when Hrithik Roshan married Sussanne Khan.
However, Charmme jocularly added that she would consider getting married only after Hrithik tied the knot again, given his current single status.
Puri Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur jointly produced Liger featuring Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Pandey, which tanked miserably at the box office.
Following the losses, director Puri had to forego his remuneration. He paid the distributors from his pockets.
They both are bankrolling Ram Pothineni’s upcoming film Double iSmart, which is currently on the sets.
