Directed by Vijay Binny, the movie is expected to hit the screens worldwide for Sankranthi.

It is learnt that Allari Naresh will have an emotional arc in Naa Saami Ranga. He is playing the character of Nagarjuna’s friend Anji in the movie.

Allari Naresh’s character is going to be emotional and tear-jerking in the second half.

It is said that his role will revisit the memoirs of the actor’s role of Gali Seenu in the Award-winning film Gamyam (2008) directed by Krish Jagarlamudi.

It is still uncertain as to how much Naa Saami Ranga would fetch Allari Naresh in his second innings.

Srinivasa Chitturi is producing the project under the Srinivasa Silver Screen banner. Pawan Kumar is presenting it.

The teaser of Naa Saami Ranga will be released at 12.34 pm on Sunday, 17 December.

Comedy hero to character artiste

Allari Naresh, who made his entry into films as a young son of the late director EVV Satyanarayana, gained a good reputation as a comedy hero.

With back-to-back hits in the comedy genre, he proved a safe bet for small producers who invested in him. He didn’t limit himself to the comedy genre, as he went on to win accolades for films like Nenu (2004), Visakha Express (2008), and Gamyam.

At a time when the craze for comedy films took a dip due to the emergence of comedy shows Jabardasth, Allari Naresh started exploring serious scripts for himself.

The supporting role that he played in Mahesh Babu’s Maharshi (2019) earned him more fans. Later, films like Naandi (2021) and Ugram (2023) showed a new Allari Naresh on the screen.
