Now, any word that is remotely hooked to Telugu celeb Samantha Ruth Prabhu is a big business for fringe media outlets these days.

Ever since the star got divorced from Naga Chaitanya, gossip has been a hotcake in the market; surprisingly, with myositis as its main ingredient.

In the latest, a news portal prepared a piping-hot delicacy on Samantha’s suffering to fetch good bucks, but at the cost of her mental agony and vulnerability.

The website claimed that Samantha sought financial help of ₹25 crore from a reputed film star in Tollywood to get treatment for Myositis.

However, the actress came out strongly bursting out at the media report. She refuted the claims stating that the reports are misleading and she can take care of herself.

Her Instagram story on Saturday, 5 August, read: “25 crores to treat myositis!? Someone got you a pretty bad deal. I am glad I am only spending a small fraction of that. And I don’t think I was paid in marbles for all the work I have done in my career. So I can easily take care of myself. Thank you.”

“Myositis is a condition thousands suffer from. Let’s please be responsible with the information we put out regarding the treatment.”
