After a resounding success at the Telugu box office, Salaar: Part 1-Ceasefire (2023) made waves not only in regional languages but also in achieving remarkable acclaim in the Hindi belt and later on the OTT platform.

The action entertainer has made its way to the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Awards 2024.

On Tuesday night, 20 February, Mumbai city lit up with stars as the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Awards 2024 honoured their performances from recent hits.

The action drama featuring Prabhas broke multiple records upon its debut on OTT giant Netflix.

The flick garnered widespread praise from audiences for its gripping action sequences and stellar performances by Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran.

Salaar: Part 1-Ceasefire also won audiences’ hearts for its captivating background score.

On Tuesday night, Mumbai city lit up with stars as the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Awards honoured film stars.

Bollywood Baadshah Shah Rukh Khan and Southern star Nayanthara, the lead actors of Atlee’s Jawan (2023), clinched the Best Actor and Best Versatile Actress of the Year awards respectively.

Meanwhile, Telugu filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga earned the Best Director Award for his blockbuster flick Animal (2023).
