After the song “Nattu Nattu” from RRR scripted history by winning the Golden Globe Award in the Original Song category, leaders from across the country, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan, and Delhi Cheif Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday, 11 January, congratulated musician MM Keeravaani and the crew of the movie.
It is the first Indian production to win a Golden Globe.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated the RRR team saying that the prestigious honour had made every Indian very proud.
“A very special accomplishment! Compliments to @mmkeeravaani, Prem Rakshith, Kaala Bhairava, Chandrabose, @Rahulsipligunj. I also congratulate @ssrajamouli, @tarak9999, @AlwaysRamCharan and the entire team of @RRRMovie . This prestigious honour has made every Indian very proud,” the Prime Minister tweeted.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy congratulated the team saying that the Telugu flag is flying high.

Former Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu, Telugu star Chiranjeevi and several other celebrities also congratulated the RRR team members for clinching the award for the Telugu track “Naatu Naatu“.

Chiranjeevi, whose son Ram Charan played the lead role alongside Jr NTR in RRR, described the global recognition of the film as a ‘historic achievement.’

Top Telugu star Nagarjuna also congratulated Keeravani and his team for the feat.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal congratulated the cast and crew of RRR for winning the best song award at the Golden Globes.
