Rashmika Mandanna to pair up with Salman Khan in ‘Sikander’

Animal (2023) actor Rashmika Mandanna will feature opposite superstar Salman Khan in the upcoming movie Sikander, the makers announced on Thursday, 9 May.

Salman will play the titular role in the movie to be directed by AR Murugadoss of Ghajini (2008) and Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty (2014) fame.

Set to be released in theatres on Eid 2025, the project will be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala’s banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.

On X, the production company announced the news about roping in Rashmika for Sikander.

In a post on her Instagram story, Mandanna said she is excited to be a part of Sikander.

Mandanna, best known for Telugu hits such as Chalo (2018), Geetha Govindam (2018), Dear Comrade (2019), Pushpa: The Rise (2021), and Sita Ramam (2022), made her debut in Hindi cinema with Vikas Bahl’s Goodbye (2023).

She was most recently seen in filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal, opposite Ranbir Kapoor.

The actor is awaiting the release of Pushpa 2: The Rule, which reunites her with co-star Allu Arjun. She will also star in Chaava with Vicky Kaushal.
