Rajesh Madhavan’s next film with Ajai Kumar launched

The actor, who essayed the lead role in 'Sureshanteyum Sumalathayudeyum Hrudayahariyaya Pranayakadha', also has his directorial debut coming up.

Actor-director Rajesh Madhavan has demonstrated his versatility through various small roles that earned him recognition. He took on his first lead role in Ratheesh Balakrishnan Poduval’s Sureshanteyum Sumalathayudeyum Hrudayahariyaya Pranayakadha (2024), which received mixed reviews in theatres.

Rajesh Madhavan is currently busy with his debut directorial project, Pennum Porattum, which is shooting. He described the film as a small experimental piece, set in the village of Kollengode in Palakkad, revolving around a dog.

Rajesh will further appear in a significant supporting role in Grrr (2024), starring Kunchacko Boban. The movie has generated high expectations; thanks to its promising teaser and trailer.

The plot features Kunchacko Boban’s character jumping into a lion’s den at the Trivandrum zoo, with Rajesh Madhavan also appearing in the trailer.

The upcoming film is written by Ajai Kumar and Munner Mohmmadunni, based on a story by Shanavas Konarath.

Following his first lead role in Sureshanteyum…, Rajesh Madhavan will star in a new film directed by debutant Ajai Kumar, which was recently launched.

The film includes Dilshana, Anwar Shereef, Sravana, and Raj Bal in key roles.

This one is produced by Varun and Arun of AV Movies, who previously bankrolled Ini Utharam (2022), featuring Aparna Balamurali in the lead role.

Ajai Kumar and Munner Mohmmadunni are writing the script based on a story by Shanavas Konarath.

Muneer Muhammadunni has previously worked on films such as Sapthamashree Thaskaraha (2014) and Neeli (2018).

The cinematography for the movie is handled by Kannan Patteri, with editing by Nishad Yusuf and music composed by Bijibal. More information regarding the movie is anticipated to be out shortly.
