Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2 pre-release business

Though Pushpa 2: The Rule is about seven months away from its release, Mythri Movie Makers are already making plans for the pre-theatrical business.

The makers are willing to scour for buyers if expected figures align with the theatrical offers.

The makers are expecting some ₹200 crore from Telugu states and at least ₹100 crore from overseas.

While they are open to negotiations and agreements, it appears that potential buyers are still undecided about committing to such a large investment.

Pushpa 2: The Rule, a pan-Indian action drama, is the sequel to the 2021 film Pushpa: The Rise.

It is directed by Sukumar and stars Allu Arjun, Fahadh Faasil, and Rashmika Mandanna. It is scheduled for release on 15 August 2024.

Animal (2023) surpassed ₹900 crore, irrespective of A certification. Despite the controversies around the content, Salaar: Part 1 Ceasefire is a box office success.

Allu Arjun’s box-office image is more than what Ranbir Kapoor and Prabhas have achieved, Pushpa‘s popularity in the North is not to be underestimated.

Exhibitors in Northern India believe that if there is a clash with any Bollywood movies, Pushpa 2 will dominate collections.

After the trailer release, insiders predicted the film’s impact would be huge. Director Sukumar is believed to have crafted numerous intense moments that go beyond giving goosebumps to audiences.

There is widespread talk from industry circles that Devi Sri Prasad’s songs will give more adrenaline than the first part.

With up to 40 percent of the shooting pending, Sukumar and the team are working tirelessly day and night to ensure a release on 15 August without any delays.
