It is worth mentioning that actor Akshay Kumar, who also plays a cameo in the movie, recently completed filming his portion in Hyderabad.
Kannappa also stars Mohan Babu, Shiva Rajkumar, Madhoo, Sarathkumar, Prabhudheva, Brahmanandam, Mukesh Rishi, and Kaushal Manda.
Being directed by Mukesh Singh, a predominant portion of the Telugu film has been shot in New Zealand, where the makers have closely worked with a leading CGI studio.
Last November, Vishnu took to X to unveil the first-look posters of this highly ambitious project.
Kannappa‘s story has been jointly written by Paruchuri Gopalakrishna, Burra Sai Madhav, and Thota Prasad.
Earlier, Kriti Sanon’s sister Nupur Sanon was roped in to play the female lead in the Manchu Vishnu-starrer. However, she opted out of the project citing date issues.
The makers still haven’t officially announced who has replaced Nupur as the leading lady.
Produced by Ava Entertainment and 24 Frames Factory, the film features music composed by Mani Sharma and Stephen Devassy.
