A new teaser of the award-winning Malayalam film Pallotty 90s Kids, directed by debutant Jithin Raj, has been launched by its makers on Wednesday, 15 November.
The movie is presented by critically acclaimed filmmaker Lijo Jose Pellissery. It will be released on 5 January 2024.
Pallotty 90s Kids, set in the 1990s, is about the friendship of two young boys — Kannan and Unni.
Master Davinci Santhosh and Master Neeraj Krishna play the lead roles in the flick.
In the new teaser, a trading card of Sachin Tendulkar is shown, while Kannan and Unni visit a grocery store to purchase chewing gum.
Pallotty 90s Kids won awards at the 53rd Kerala State Film Awards earlier this year in Best Child Actor, Best Children’s Film and Best Playback Singer categories.
Master Davinci won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Child Actor for his performance in the flick.
Pallotty 90s Kids casts a handful of child actors. It also stars Arjun Ashokan, Balu Varghese, Saiju Kurup, Sudhi Koppa, Dinesh Prabhakar, and Niranjana Anoop in important roles.
The film also boasts of having about 40 newcomers in the cast and crew.
It is produced by Cinema Pranthan Productions.
