Renowned production banner Mythri Movie Makers unveiled a new poster of Rashmika Mandanna from the upcoming film Pushpa 2: The Rule on Friday, 5 April, and wished the actor a happy birthday.
The poster shows Rashmika’s character Srivalli adorned with gold jewellery in a massy role.
This look is in quite a contrast to her previous look in Pushpa: The Rise (2021), where she was seen as a simple working-class woman.

Meanwhile, the teaser of Pushpa 2: The Rule is all set to be dropped on 8 April, on the occasion of its leading man Allu Arjun’s birthday.
On 2 April, the film team released a poster announcing the teaser date.
Apart from Allu Arjun as Pushpa Raj and Rashmika as Srivalli, Pushpa 2 also has Malayalam actor Fahad Faasil in a negative role.
Prakash Raj appears as Mangalam Prakash, Sunil as Mangalam Srinu, and Anasuya Bharadwaj plays the crucial role of Mangalam Dakshayani in the sequel.
Jagapathi Babu, Rao Ramesh, Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari, and Dhananjay will be seen in crucial roles.
Pushpa 2 also boasts a powerhouse team, with Devi Sri Prasad composing the music and the breathtaking visuals captured by cinematographer Mireslow Kuba Brozek.
Apart from the Pushpa franchise, Rashmika Mandanna is also working on a project with Rahul Ravindran, titled The Girlfriend.
The teaser of the movie was supposed to be released on 5 April as Rashmika’s birthday gift. However, director Rahul Ravindran wrote on X that the teaser release has been postponed.
He shared that despite the teaser being ready, the launch was postponed as “We want to go grand and make the event very special. Keeping this in mind, we have decided to postpone the teaser launch to a later date this month. An event with Rashmika and her fans is being planned.”
He further wrote: “To her fans across the country, we love her as much as you do. And we love you. Please bear with us a few more days. We shall announce a new date soon. We shall introduce you to ‘The Girlfriend’ soon. Thank you.”

However, the team unveiled the look of Rashmika in The Girlfriend through two posters. In the posters, the actor looks captivating in simple casual attire.
The Girlfriend stars Dasara-fame Deekshith Shetty as the protagonist.
It is produced by Geetha Arts, Mass Movie Makers, and Dheeraj Mogilineni Entertainment.
