Mohanlal’s Malaikottai Vaaliban will be the first hyped movie to be released in January 2024. The actor teaming up with director Lijo Jose Pellissery for the first time is one of the highlights of the period movie.
Meanwhile, on Friday, 15 December, the makers released the first song “Punnara Kattile Poovannathil“.
The melodious tune has been composed by Prasanth Pillai and sung by Sreekumar Vakkiyil and Abhaya Hiranmayi.
The movie will be released on 25 January.
The breathtaking teaser of the movie was out recently. In the teaser, Mohanlal was seen in a never-seen-before avatar that left his fans with goosebumps.
Launching the teaser, Mohanlal said, “The captain of the ship, Lijo (Pellissery), has created a grand spectacle, a glimpse of which the audience can see in this teaser.
Malaikottai Vaaliban marks the first project of Yoodlee Films with Mohanlal.
It will be dubbed and released simultaneously in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi.
Sonalee Kulkarni, Hareesh Peradi, Danish Sait, Manoj Moses, Katha Nandi, and Manikandan Achari play significant roles in Malaikottai Vaaliban.
Madhu Neelakandan is the cinematographer.
John & Mary Creative, Max Labs, Century Films, and Saregama India Ltd are bankrolling Malaikottai Vaaliban.
It is edited by Deepu Joseph and designed by Ronex Xavier.
