Malayalam actor Unni Mukundan has met with an accident during the shooting of his upcoming movie Jai Ganesh.
In Jai Ganesh, the actor plays a handicapped person who is wheelchair-bound.
The accident occurred on Wednesday, 29 November, when the actor’s wheelchair fell backwards while he was trying to enter a room.
Unni Mukundan shared a video of the same on his social media accounts. In the video, he said it was because of the design of the wheelchair that he suffered no injuries or it would have turned into a major accident.
“Jai Ganesh is doing well. A small accident happened on the set yesterday (Tuesday). Luckily, I didn’t get hurt. A lot of people sent messages asking if they had a head injury. There is no problem. It would have been a big accident,” the actor explained in the video.
He added, “Nothing happened to me because of the design of that wheelchair. I will definitely talk about its design. I hope this will help people who are struggling like this.”
Unni Mukundan said he realised how difficult it really was to be part of a scene.
The actor earlier claimed that his role in Jai Ganesh would be different in his entire career.
Actor Jomol is acting in the film after a long gap.
Mahima Nambiar plays the female lead in the movie.
