Telugu dubbed version of ‘Manjummel Boys’ to release on 6 April

Telugu dubbed version of Manjummel Boys on 6 April

After creating history in the Malayalam industry by becoming the first movie to enter the ₹200-crore club, Manjummel Boys is all set to release in Telugu and Hindi versions.

The Telugu dubbed version will hit the theatres on 6 April.

The makers made an official announcement via their social media handles on Tuesday, 26 March.

Mythri Movie Makers, Primeshow Entertainment and Sukumar Writings are releasing it in Telugu.

In its X post, Mythri Movie Makers wrote: “The highest grossing Malayalam film #ManjummelBoys is now coming to entertain the Telugu audience. Grand release worldwide on April 6th.Telugu release by @MythriOfficial, @Primeshowtweets & @SukumarWritings.”

Meanwhile, it is learnt that the Hindi dubbed version will also be released on 6 April. An official confirmation is awaited though.

Creates history

Manjummel Boys was released on 22 February. On the opening day, the flick collected over ₹3 crore. The word-of-mouth publicity helped it pull crowds to theatres.

The Malayalam film raked in a net worth of ₹120 crore in the domestic market. It collected over ₹60 crore at the Kerala box office.

Manjummel Boys grossed ₹100 crore in just 12 days and ₹150 crore worldwide in 18 days. It also created several records.

The survival drama earned ₹50 crore in Tamil Nadu, marking a significant achievement for any Malayalam film.

In Karnataka, it garnered ₹11 crore, setting a record and highlighting the interesting phenomenon of the original version achieving such success in neighbouring states.

Manjummel Boys surpassed the collection of Lal Salaam on 4 March, including the advance sales. It became the third-highest grosser of 2024 in Tamil Nadu.

Soubin Shahir, Sreenath Bhasi, Jean Paul, Abhiram Radhakrishnan, Ganapathy, Chandu Salim Kumar, Vishnu Raghu, Deepak Parambol, Arun Kurian and Balu Varghese formed the major cast of Manjummel Boys.

Chidambaram was the director. Parava Films and Sree Gokulam Films jointly produced it.

Shyju Khalid was the cinematographer. Sushin Shyam scored the music.
