Nivin Pauly’s Malayalee From India is a much-awaited Malayalam movie. The actor is pinning high hopes on it as he didn’t have any major hits for some time.
And now, the film has its release date. It will hit the marquee on 1 May.
Nivin Pauly, through his social media platforms, announced the release date as May 1.
The teaser, released a few months ago, suggested that Malayalee From India is a comedy-drama.
Malayalee From India is directed by Dijo Jose Antony and written by Sharis Mohammed. They both worked on films like Queen (2018) and Jana Gana Mana (2022).
The movie also casts Dhyan Sreenivasan in a crucial role. Anaswara Rajan, Manju Pillai, Shine Tom Chacko, Salim Kumar, and Vijayakumar are a part of the flick.
Malayalee From India is produced by Nivin’s Pauly Jr Pictures and Listin Stephen’s Magic Frames. The technical team includes cinematographer Sudeep Elamon, editor Sreejith Sarang, and music director Jakes Bejoy.
On the work front, Nivin Pauly is working on a film with debutant director Aaryan Ramani Girijavallabhavan.
He will also debut on Disney+ Hotstar with the web series Pharma, directed by Finals-fame Arun PR.
Further, the actor will appear in an extended cameo in Vineeth Sreenivasan’s Varshangalkku Shesham slated to release on 11 April.
He also has a Tamil film, Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai, directed by Ram. Anjali and Soori are playing major roles in it.
The film, premiered in February at the International Film Festival of Rotterdam, received rave reviews.
