Actors Nivin Pauly and Mamitha Baiju are set to come come together for director Girish AD’s next venture titled Bethlehem Kudumba Unit.
It is produced by Fahadh Faasil, Dileesh Pothan, and Syam Pushkaran’s Bhavana Studios.
The film marks the banner’s and Mamitha’s reunion with Girish after the 2024 hit Premalu.
Sharing the news, the makers wrote on Facebook, “Super Excited to share that Bhavana Studios is teaming up with Girish AD for Production No.6, ‘Bethlehem Kudumba Unit’, a Romantic tale starring Nivin Pauly & Mamitha Baiju in the lead.”
Written by Girish AD and Kiran Josey, the film features cinematography by Ajmal Sabu and music composed by Vishnu Vijay. Editing is handled by Akash Joseph Varghese.
The film’s production starts in September.
The poster of the film gives a retro feel, with the title and credits written on audio cassettes.
While Girish AD was supposed to work on Premalu’s sequel, it has now been postponed.
Apart from this project, the actor also has Akhil Sathyan’s film titled Sarvam Maya, Dear Students with Nayanthara, Baby Girl, Multiverse Manmadhan, LCU’s Benz, and one web series in the pipeline.
Multiverse Manmadhan is being touted as India’s first multiverse superhero movie. Helmed by Enkilum Chandrike director Adithyan Chandrasekhar, the film is co-written by Anandhu S Raj and Nithiraj.
Nivin Pauly and Tamil director Ram have come together for their upcoming film Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai.
The film premiered at the International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR) and has already garnered appreciation from the international audience.
Nivin Pauly, Anjali, and Soori play the lead roles in the movie. Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. NK Ekhambram is the cinematographer. Suresh Kamatchi produced it under the banner of V House Productions.
Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai is touted to be a psychological romantic thriller and is set to release in March.
Nivin Pauly is also set to make his OTT debut with the web series Pharma. The series will soon premiere on Jio Hotstar.
Pharma follows the struggle of a middle-class boy who joins the pharmaceutical industry as a medical representative in his 20s.
