Team 'Sookshmadarsh'ini' celebrates as they wrap up the shooting. (Instagram)
The shooting of Sookshmadarshini, featuring Basil Joseph and Nazriya Naseem, has been wrapped up. The film went on floors in May this year.
The makers of Sookshmadarshini took to social media to announce that it’s a wrap for the film. They also shared a few photos and videos where the team celebrated the end of the shooting.
marks the debut of MC Jithin as a director. It is produced by Sameer Thahir, Shaiju Khalid, and AV Anoop under the banners of Happy Hours Entertainment and AVA Productions.
The story is written by MC Jithin and Athul Ramachandran. The screenplay is by MC Jithin, Athul Ramachandran, and Libin TB. Christo Xavier is the music director. The film is expected to hit theatres soon.
The cinematography is handled by Sharan Velayudhan and the editing by Chaman Chacko. Mashar Hamza is the costume designer.
Sookshmadarshini also stars Deepak Parambol, Siddharth Bharathan, Merrin Philp, Akhila Bhargavan, Pooja Mohanraj, Kottayam Ramesh, Gopan Mangat, Manohari Joy, Rini Udayakumar, Jaya Kurup, Muskan Bisaria, Aparna Ram, Abhiram Poduval, Binny Ringi, Nandan Unni, Naushad Ali, Athira Rajeev, and Mirza Fathia in prominent roles.
Nazriya Nazim was last seen in Trance (2020) alongside Fahadh Faasil. She is also part of Fahadh Faasil and Friends Production, which bankrolled the recent blockbuster movie Premalu (2024) in association with Bhavana Studios. Further, the banner produced Aavesham (2024) along with Anwar Rasheed Entertainments.

Meanwhile, Basil Joseph is also part of Marana Mass, directed by Sivaprasad. It is produced by Tovino Thomas. The shooting commenced recently.
He will next be seen in Pravinkoodu Shappu under the direction of Sreeraj Sreenivasan. It has Soubin Shahir in a crucial role.
Basil Joseph’s Nunakuzhi is all set to release in cinema halls on 15 August. The film is directed by Jeethu Joseph. The other cast includes Grace Antony, Siddique, Manoj K Jayan, Baiju Santhosh, Saiju Kurup, and Aju Varghese.
He was last seen in Guruvayoor Ambala Nadayil (2024) with Prithviraj Sukumaran. Last year, he played serious roles in Kadina Kadoramee Andakadaham. and Nna Thaan Case Kodu.
The actor-director also has plans to direct a Bollywood film titled Shaktimaan with Ranveer Singh in the lead.
