Indrajith Sukumaran and Anaswara Rajan are coming together for the first time for their new movie, Mr & Mrs Bachelor. It is touted to be a romantic comedy and will be released in theatres on 23 August.
On Friday, 19 July, the makers unveiled the first-look poster of Mr & Mrs Bachelor. The poster revealed Anaswara Rajan’s character in the film.
Clad in a White flowy wedding gown, the actor sits on the bonnet of a wedding car, holding a Blue bag and a Blue umbrella. There’s also a cute puppy placed in a basket beside her. The car windscreen bears the names of the bride and the groom—Stephy weds Sijin.
The first-look poster also announced the release date of Mr & Mrs Bachelor. The film will vie with Meera Jasmine’s Paalum Pazhavum.
Mr & Mrs Bachelor is directed by Deepu Karunakaran, known for helming Crazy Gopalan (2008) and Karinkunnam 6’s (2016). The other cast includes Rahul Madhav, Deepu Karunakaran, Sohan Seenulal, and Biju Pappan in supporting roles.
Prakash Highline is backing the movie under the banner of Highline Pictures. It is scripted by Arjun T Sathyan, popular for his film Rakshadhikari Baiju Oppu (2017) starring Biju Menon.

Indrajith Sukumarn played comedy roles earlier in films like Classmates (2006) and Amar Akbar Antony (2015). He was last seen in Marivillin Gopurangal (2024), which won mixed reviews. His next is Kaalante Thankakudam, a fantasy movie.
The actor will also be seen in his brother Prithviraj Sukumaran’s upcoming directorial Empuraan and Jeethu Joseph’s RAM. Interestingly, both films have Mohanlal in the lead role.
Meanwhile, Anaswara Rajan is on cloud nine, having delivered three hits. Her Neru (2023), featuring Mohanlal in the lead role, grossed over ₹100 crore. Similarly, Abraham Ozler and Guruvayoor Ambala Nadayil, both released this year, did extremely well in the theatres and are now ruling the OTT space.
