Mohanlal takes membership in directors’ union of FEFKA

Calling it an honour to be a FEFKA member, Mohanlal said he was thankful to the FEFKA for including him in the Association.

Mohanlal takes FEFKA membership

Malayalam Superstar Mohanlal has taken the membership in the Director’s Union of the Film Employees Federation of Kerala (FEFKA).

Senior director Sibi Malayil gave him the membership card during the film employees’ meeting organised by FEFKA in Kochi on Wednesday, 27 March.

Sharing his membership identity card on his Facebook handle, Mohanlal said he was thankful to the FEFKA for including him in the Association. He said it was an honour to be a FEFKA member.

Mohanlal also lauded the health insurance programme initiated by the FEFKA.

The FEFKA members can avail of the health insurance programme from 1 April. The health insurance will benefit around 7,000 FEFKA members and their families.

Barroz gearing up for release

Meanwhile, the post-production work of Mohanlal’s first directorial venture Barroz is progressing at a brisk pace.

It is based on writer Jijo Punnoose’s novel “Barroz: Guardian of D’Gama’s Treasure“.

The movie was slated for release on 28 March, but the release date was postponed as the post-production works were pending.

Mohanlal plays the titular role in the flick. The other cast includes Maya, Sara Vega, Tuhin Menon, Cesar Lorente Raton, Kallirroi Tziafeta, and Guru Somasundaram.

Barroz has been shot in 3D.
