First-look poster of Prithviraj-Basil Joseph’s ‘Guruvayoor Ambala Nadayil’ out

Prithviraj Sukumaran and Basil Joseph are coming together for the first time for Guruvayoor Ambala Nadayil.

The announcement of the project piqued the interest of movie buffs as the film is helmed by Vipin Das, who earlier helmed the superhit film Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey (2022) headlined by Darshana Rajendran and Basil Joseph.

The makers released the first-look poster of Guruvayoor Ambala Madayil on Wednesday, 17 January.

Sharing the first-look poster, Basil Joseph wrote that Guruvayoor Ambala nadayil is “a family wedding entertainer”. The tagline hints that the movie has an interesting story, which might revolve around a marriage.

In the first-look poster, all the characters pose for a group picture, but there is confusion writ large on their faces.

Guruvayoor Ambala Nadayil is jointly produced by E4 Entertainment and Prithviraj Productions. It has an ensemble cast, including Anaswara Rajan, Nikhila Vimal, Yogi Babu, Jagadish, and Rekha Harris.

It marks Tamil actor Yogi Babu’s debut in Malayalam.

Meanwhile, Prithviraj Sukumaran’s Salaar: Part 1-Ceasefire was a success. His Aadujeevitham will be released in theatres on 10 April.

The actor is also busy with his third directorial endeavour L2: Empuraan starring Mohanlal and the Bollywood film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan alongside Akshay Kumar.

Basil Joseph is basking in the success of his latest release Falimy.

Further, he is teaming up with Bollywood star Ranveer Singh for the Hindi movie Shaktimaan. Sony Pictures International Productions (India) Head and General Manager Lada Guruden Singh confirmed that the work on the project is underway.
