The film will be directed by Roy, a long-time co-director of Dileesh Pothan, with whom he worked on Maheshinte Prathikaaram (2016), Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum (2017), and Joji (2021).
Fahadh Faasil, a frequent collaborator with the team, plays the titular character in Karate Chandran.
The story is written by S Hareesh and Vinoy Thomas. Details about the rest of the cast and crew are still under wraps.
