Oru Sarkar Ulpannam releasing on 8 March

Actor Subeesh Sudhi recollected that Nizam Rawther was upset after the censor board asked team Oru Bharataha Sarkar Ulpannam to change the title of the movie.

Nizam had wonderful stories in his mind and director Lal Jose appreciated the writer for his immense talent.

Oru Bharataha Sarkar Ulpannam was in the headlines recently after the Censor Board (CBFC) asked to remove “Bharat” from its title.

The makers changed the name to Oru Sarkar Ulpannam and are releasing it on 8 March.

The CBFC directed the film team to change the title to get a green signal for its theatrical release. Interestingly, the trailer was censored with the original name!

Oru Sarkar Ulpannam is directed by TV Ranjith. It received a ‘U’ certificate.

TV Krishnan Thuruthy, Renjith Jagannathan, and KC Reghunathan produced it under the banner of Bhavani Productions.

The movie deals with vasectomy. The trailer hints that it would be a laugh riot, given that the theme has been less discussed in Malayalam cinema.
