A few netizens accused the team of Guntur Kaaram and Superstar Mahesh Babu of manipulating shows in Prasads PCX.

A few posts on Twitter caused a flutter during the early morning on Monday, 15 January, when users accused the team behind Guntur Kaaram of allegedly cancelling the shows of Hanu-Man and reassigning them to Guntur Kaaram.

Following the release of two big films — Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Kaaram and Teja Sajja’s Hanu-Man — on Sankranti festival, producer Dil Raju was accused of allocating more theatres to Guntur Kaaram in Telugu States.

Many netizens took to social media platforms to vent their ire over the injustice meted out to Hanu-Man which entered the fray featuring a relatively not-so-popular star.

Angry fans

Guntur Kaaram received negative reviews for its weak story, poor treatment, and screenplay, while Hanu-Man turned the wave as it received positive reviews both from critics and audiences.

Film lovers vented their anger on social media and accused Mahesh Babu’s team of cancelling Hanu-Man shows in Prasads.

Meanwhile, a few cinephiles also mentioned that shows of Guntur Kaaram too have been cancelled and rescheduled to the next day, because of a technical snag.

However, the team from Prasads haven’t responded to the issue.
