The actors, who did 'Pandiya Naadu' and 'Naan Sigappu Manithan' together, have time and again clarified that there is no truth in the rumour.
Kollywood actor-producer Vishal has trashed the rumours that he would soon wed his former co-star Lakshmi Menon.
Taking to social media to put an end to the unnecessary speculation caused by rumours doing the rounds on the Internet since Thursday, 10 August, Vishal wrote: “Usually, I don’t respond to any fake news or rumours about me because I feel it’s useless. But now, since the rumour about my marriage with Laksmi Menon is doing the rounds, I point blankly deny this and it’s absolutely not true and baseless.”
He also stated that he was issuing a clarification only because it involves a girl. “The reason behind my response is only because it involves a girl firstly more than her being an actress. You are invading and spoiling a girl’s private life and maligning her image.”
The actor further added: “It’s not a Bermuda triangle to decode the year, date, time and who I am getting married in the future. Hope sense prevails. When the time comes will announce my marriage officially. God Bless.”

Vishal first worked with Lakshmi Menon in the critically acclaimed hit film Pandiya Naadu (Pandiya’s Kingdom, 2013) directed by Suseenthiran.
They both teamed up again for Naan Sigappu Manithan (I’m a Red Man, 2014) directed by Thiru. It was during this time that rumours started circulating that the two were seeing each other.
Significantly, the duo did not work together after Naan Sigappu Manithan.
Both actors, time and again, clarified that there is no truth in the rumours about them.
However, on Thursday, the internet was abuzz again that Vishal and Lakshmi Menon decided to tie the knot and the wedding would happen soon. This apparently forced the actor to set the record straight by issuing a statement on Friday, 11 August.
On the work front, Vishal has at least three big films awaiting release. The first one to hit the screens (15 September) is Mark Antony directed by Aadhik Ravichandran. It also features SJ Suryah, Ritu Varma, and Selvaraghavan.
