YouTuber Aju Alex and actor Bala

Actor Bala has been in the news recently not for his movies but for controversies surrounding his social media videos.

In the new events, a case has been registered against the Malayalam-Tamil actor for attacking a YouTuber named Aju Alex who makes videos under the name “Chekuthan”.

The YouTuber filed a police case against Bala for threatening his friend with a pistol.

Aju said he recently posted a troll video on YouTube in reaction to the one posted by Bala on his Facebook page. Bala visited his home along with YouTuber Santosh Varkey —  who (reportedly) showed him the way to his house — and two local goons, he added.

“I was not home when they came. So, Bala threatened my friend who was at home with a pistol saying that he would kill me if I don’t delete my video,” Aju Alex alleged.

According to Aju, last week, Bala reportedly threatened Santosh Varkey not to accuse Malayalam actors in his reviews following which the YouTuber apologised to the Malayalam actors.

Santosh became popular on social media for his viral movie reviews.

Actor’s reaction

Reacting to Aju Alex’s complaint, actor Bala posted a video on Facebook where he said he has a recording of the incident.

The actor claimed that he only took objection to the objectionable language used by Aju in his videos. “For the sake of your followers, hold your tongue. This is not a warning but a suggestion!”

The actor asserted that anyone is free to criticise a person but without using bad words.
