Superstar Rajinikanth will make a special appearance in 'Lal Salaam', playing a small but significant character named Moideen Bhai.

One of cricket’s greatest Icons Kapil Dev has finished dubbing for his portions in director Aishwarya Rajinikanth’s upcoming Tamil film, Lal Salaam.
Taking to X, Aishwarya posted pictures of the cricketing great dubbing his portions and wrote, “The legend of Indian cricket wraps up dubbing for #lalsalaam ..what an experience it’s been! True charmer you are “CAP”. Post production in full throttle!”
The film, which features actor Vishnu Vishal, along with Vikranth in the lead, is scheduled to release during Pongal next year.

In July, Tamil Superstar Rajinikanth, who makes a special appearance in his daughter Aishwarya’s Lal Salaam, wrapped up his portions for the film. Rajini plays a small but significant character named Moideen Bhai in the film.
The film is being produced by well-known production house Lyca Productions and has music by AR Rahman.
Vishnu Rangasamy has shot the visuals of the film, which has art direction by Ramu Thangaraj and editing by B Pravin Baaskar.
