Actor Vishnu Vishal, who along with Vikranth, plays the lead in director Aishwarya Rajinikanth’s upcoming film Lal Salaam, has hit out at those trying to pull him down. He said that their attempts are not working and instead, are pushing him to go higher.
On Wednesday, 12 July, Tamil superstar Rajinikanth, who makes a special appearance in his daughter Aishwarya’s Lal Salaam, wrapped up his portions for the film. In the movie, Rajinikanth plays a small but significant character named Moideen Bhai.
Marking Rajini’s last day on the sets, the entire unit of Lal Salaam chose to take a picture with the Superstar. Posting this picture on social media, actor Vishnu Vishal lashed out at his detractors.
He wrote: “To many who tried to pull me down, and who are still at it… especially a few, who stooped so low for their selfish reasons…And to some on my timelines, who believe and talk about the same nonsense whenever I have anything to post on social media.”

Vishnu Vishal further wrote: “I’m sorry. It’s clearly not working. And you guys only push me to go higher and higher. Here is the proof!! Standing next to a superstar in this picture and in the film didn’t come my way easily. Many many years of sincerity, hard work and honesty have got me to this.”
About Lal Salaam, he wrote in his post: “Even in my wildest dreams, Lal Salaam is an opportunity I never dreamt of. A big, big thanks to Thalaivar for every single moment that I witnessed while shooting and some wise words and appreciation coming straight from the Superstar about me and my films, which are now my most prized cinematic memories and possessions. It’s a wrap for #MoideenBhai”
Vishnu Vishal ended the post by saying, “I will keep rising above all odds. Only because there is truth in what I do!!! Don’t think I’m jumping the gun. I don’t speak without conviction:) you will know when the movie releases :)”

Earlier in the day, director Aishwarya Rajinikanth officially announced that her dad had completed his portions for her film, Lal Salaam.
She wrote: “Making a movie with you is a miracle, and you are pure magic appa. #LalSalaam moideen bhai #anditsawrap for the Superstar.”
Lal Salaam is being produced by the well-known production house Lyca Productions and has music by AR Rahman.
