Happy birthday Kichcha Sudeep: Official logo and concept video for 'Billa Ranga Baasha' unveiled

Sandalwood hero Kichcha Sudeep and acclaimed director Anup Bhandari are joining hands once again for an ambitious project. Titled Billa Ranga Baasha-First Blood, the official logo and the concept video for the film were unveiled on Monday, 2 September, marking Kichcha Sudeep’s birthday.

This marks another exciting collaboration between the duo following the success of their 2022 film Vikrant Rona.

Billa Ranga Baasha-First Blood is a high-budget, large-scale venture that will be released in all major Indian languages.

The concept video of Billa Ranga Baasha-First Blood gives us a glimpse into the film’s futuristic setting—2209 AD. It showcases a dystopian world where iconic landmarks like the Statue of Liberty, the Eiffel Tower, and the Taj Mahal lie in ruins. This dystopian world is ruled by a mysterious conqueror.

The concept video also reveals various regions and climates the film is set in. All these details build curiosity among fans and moviegoers about the prestigious project.

K Niranjan Reddy and Chaitanya Reddy are producing Billa Ranga Baasha-First Blood under their banner Primeshow Entertainment. It’s the same team that bankrolled the pan-Indian blockbuster Telugu film HanuMan, headlined by Teja Sajja.

The upcoming Kannada film is poised to be one of the most-waited ventures. It will start rolling soon. Meanwhile, more details about the film’s cast and crew are awaited.

Director Anup Bhandari, known for his meticulous approach and unique storytelling, seems to have left no stone unturned in crafting his vision. At the launch of the official logo and concept video, the filmmaker shared his excitement about teaming up again with Kiccha Sudeep and working with Primeshow Entertainment.

“After watching Vikrant Rona, Niranjan Reddy expressed his interest in collaborating with me. When I narrated to him the premise of Billa Ranga Baasha-First Blood, he was thrilled and eager to produce it. Working with Kichcha Sudeep sir has always been a great experience. I’m confident that the audience will love this even more than Vikrant Rona,” Bhandari said.

Producer Niranjan Reddy said working with Kichcha Sudeep and Anup Bhandari was an opportunity he wouldn’t want to miss.

“When we heard about Anup Bhandari’s next project with Kichcha Sudeep, we were pretty excited. After hearing the premise of Billa Ranga Baasha-First Blood, we knew this was a film we wanted to bankroll. We can’t wait to begin the shooting and for the audience to experience this new world.”
