Known for his unique style of filmmaking that focuses on human relationships and social issues, D Satya Prakash of Rama Rama Re (2016) fame is back with his fourth venture.
Made under his banner — Satya Pictures, the film is titled X & Y. Also, the director is debuting as an actor with the flick.
After his impressive directorial debut in Rama Rame Re, which won the State Best Film Award, Satya Prakash made Ondalla Eradalla (2018). The movie won the Best Film on National Integration at the 66th National Film Awards and the Karnataka State Film Award.
His third venture was Man of the Match (2022).
Though the filmmaker hasn’t revealed much about X & Y, the posters revealed that the movie is titled after sex chromosomes.
For those who are not aware of what sex chromosomes are, they are the ones which determine the sex in humans and many animal species. While males have one X and one Y, females have two X.
Music director Vasuki Vaibhav, who also worked for Rama Rama Re, is composing the soundtrack and BGM for X & Y. It is touted to be a comedy and fantasy saga.
