Jr NTR’s upcoming Telugu movie Devara is making headlines for various reasons. Currently, the film’s shooting is underway in Goa.
The makers are filming some crucial sequences and a montage song in their last schedule in Goa. They released a photo, where Jr NTR sports a lungi and Maroon check shirt with a towel on his shoulder. Director Koratala Siva stands next to him.
Noted choreographer Raju Sundaram is composing the dance moves for the montage song. Now that Jr NTR is known for his excellent dancing skills and Raju Sundaram is popular for brilliant choreography, expectations are running high on this montage song.
Meanwhile, a short video from the sets of Devara in Goa went viral on social media, which caught the fancy of Jr NTR’s fans. In the viral video, the actor — clad in a Black shirt and lungi — walks in the water at a beach.
The video raised curiosity among Jr NTR’s fans, who are eagerly awaiting updates about the ambitious project.
Netflix bagged the digital rights of Devara last year. However, industry insiders say the OTT giant acquired the rights for a whopping ₹155 crore for all languages. Well, this could be the biggest OTT deal in the history of Tollywood.
Devara launches Bollywood actor Janhvi Kapoor in the Telugu film industry. The film has Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan playing the antagonist.

Nandamuri Kalyan Ram’s NTR Arts and Mikkilineni Sudhakar’s Yuvasudha Arts are jointly bankrolling the flick.
Devara will hit the screens worldwide on 10 October for Dasara. It will be released in two parts.
