Interviews of Jr NTR and other promotional activities are reportedly being planned in 27 different places across the country.

Upcoming Telugu action thriller Devara: Part 1, starring Jr NTR and Bollywood actors Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor, will hit the screens worldwide on 10 October this year.

Jr NTR took to Twitter to announce the release date on Friday, 16 February.

Devara: Part 1 film will be simultaneously released in Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages for Dasara.

The movie was initially slated for release in April.

Sources close to the project said the meticulous approach, the intricate nature of the high VFX demands for the story, and JR NTR’s choice to bring out the best following the success of his last outing RRR (2022) have all added to the makers’ decision to push back the release date.

Despite the ongoing VFX works, approximately 20 days of further shooting remained.

The project was further affected by Saif Ali Khan’s injury.

Promotions in Northeast India?

After impressing the audiences with RRR, Jr NTR has a bigger responsibility to strike at the box office with Devara: Part 1.

It seems like Jr NTR has different plans when it comes to promotions of Devara.

This Koratala Siva’s directorial will kickstart a promotional campaign all over India in the next two months.

It is learnt that interviews of Jr NTR and other events are being planned in 27 different places across the country.

The grapevine has it that Jr NTR will tour the Northeastern states to promote the film. If so, he will be recognised as the first Telugu actor to promote his film in the Northeastern region of India.
