Bollywood actor Janhvi Kapoor has confirmed her second Telugu film. She will play the female lead in Ram Charan’s 16th movie, tentatively titled RC16.
RC16 is directed by Buchi Babu Sana and produced by Mythri Movie Makers.
The makers announced the news on Wednesday, 6 March, on the occasion of Janhvi Kapoor’s 27th birthday.
They released a poster of the Bollywood actor clad in a traditional saree and welcomed her on board.

Earlier, it was rumoured that Sai Pallavi will play the leading lady in RC16.
RC16 marks the collaboration of Venkata Satish Kilaru of Vriddhi Cinemas and Sukumar Writings.
Academy Award-winning AR Rahman has been roped in as the music composer for this prestigious project because of which expectations are running high on the RC16.
Meanwhile, Janhvi Kapoor will debut in Telugu movies with Jr NTR’s forthcoming flick Devara. Directed by Koratala Siva, the action drama will be released in October this year.
Meanwhile, Janhvi has a slew of projects up for release in future. These include Mr and Mrs Mahi, Ulajh, and Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari.
Ram Charan is currently busy with Game Changer, directed by Shankar. It features Kiara Advani alongside the actor.
S Thaman is the music director. It is bankrolled by Dil Raju’s Sri Venkateswara Creations.
Meanwhile, team Devara also extended birthday wishes to Janhvi Kapoor, who plays the role of Thangam in the flick.
