Dulquer Salmaan’s production house Wayfarer Films has acquired the theatrical rights of the Malayalam version of actor turned politician Pawan Kalyan’s Hari Hara Veera Mallu Part 1: Sword Vs Spirit.

The production house also wrote on X: “The Battle for Dharma intensifies. We at Wayfarerfilms are thrilled to bring the epic saga #HariHaraVeeraMallu across the state.”
The movie promises to showcase Pawan Kalyan in a never-before-seen avatar. The actor plays a warrior outlaw.
Initially directed by Krish Jagarlamudi, the project was later taken over by AM Jyothi Krishna. Now the credit is shared between both the directors.
Bollywood stars Anupam Kher and Bobby Deol are also part of the ensemble cast. Niddhi Agerwal plays the female lead. The other major cast includes veteran actors Nassar, Raghu Babu, and Ayyappa P Sharma, alongside Sunil, Narra Srinu, and Nihar.
Ace cinematographer Manoj Paramahamsa and VFX supervisor Srinivas Mohan are part of the crew. Hari Hara Veera Mallu’s music is being composed by Oscar-winning composer MM Keeravani.
Produced by A Dayakar Rao under the Mega Surya Productions banner, with AM Rathnam presenting, this epic action film is expected to be a visual spectacle.
Sharing the news of the delay, the makers had earlier shared the following statement: “With heartfelt gratitude, we thank all the fans, well-wishers, and cinema lovers who have stood by Hari Hara Veera Mallu with unwavering patience and belief. Despite relentless efforts to meet the previously announced release date of June 12th, we must inform you that the film will not be hitting theatres as scheduled. This decision, though difficult, was necessary. Powerstar Pawan Kalyan Garu’s legacy deserves nothing short of cinematic brilliance, and every frame of this magnum opus must reflect that. We ask for just a little more time, the reward will be worth the wait.”
