Macho Star Gopichand and director Sreenu Vaitla have treated fans to a spectacular feast this Eid.

The first strike video of their upcoming film Viswam, Gopichand’s 32nd film, was dropped by the makers on Thursday, 11 April.

Produced by TG Vishwa Prasad under People Media Factory and Venu Donepudi’s Chitralayam Studios, Viswam is an action entertainer.

The opening scene of the first strike video sets the stage with vibrant wedding celebrations — complete with the bride and groom’s grand entrance, lively musicians, chants of the priest, and mouth-watering dishes being prepared by chefs.

Gopichand’s dramatic entrance adds a twist. He enters the venue carrying a massive guitar case, surprisingly revealing a machine gun.

Shockingly, he proceeds to unleash gunfire on the wedding party, including the bride and groom.

Yet, amidst the chaos, he indulges in the lavish spread of food, declaring, “Every grain bears the name of the person, and my name is inscribed on it.”

It’s truly surprising to witness Gopichand, exuding ultra-stylish vibes with dark shades. By the looks of the video, the actor is likely portraying a negative character. His delivery of the dialogue perfectly underscores the grey shades of his role.

Though director Sreenu Vaitla made a comeback with a dud recently, the first strike of Viswam looks promising.

Vaitla has presented Gopichand in a remarkably different lool, showcasing his versatility.

The makers have announced that the first strike video is trending on YouTube.
