One of the most loved actors in the Kannada film industry, Puneeth Rajkumar returns to the big screen, unfortunately for one last time, which is why Gandhada Gudi is more than a documentary or a movie. Indeed, it’s an emotional experience for his fans across the globe.

His love for nature and wildlife led Puneeth Rajkumar to go on a wonderful journey exploring amazing wildlife and a few unexplored parts of Karnataka, along with renowned wildlife photographer and filmmaker Amoghavarsha.

What makes Gandhada Gudi so special is that the one-and-a-half hour documentary is shot from the first person perspective, making it a more personal and emotional watch.

It opens with Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar, the actor’s wife, talking about the legacy of the “Power Star” and his down-to-earth character, right from his childhood days to being admired for his talents and more so as a good human being.

Apart from exploring nature and wildlife, the docudrama gives a sneak peek into Puneeth’s humour and his simplicity.

In other words, it touches upon the natural side of the actor himself, which is a rarity as his fans majorly witnessed his other side — portraying various characters in movies on the big screen.

Further, Puneeth shares his special bond with his father Dr Rajkumar and also a bit about the unfortunate incident of his abduction.

Childlike at heart, the Power Star shares that his two big wishes were to see an elephant in the wild and a tiger.

To mention one of the many true lighter sides of the actor, he reveals that he had once set up a tent on the lawn at his house just to experience the joy of camping.

His fear of snakes, followed by many more adventures make this documentary a celebration of both Puneeth Rajkumar and the vibrant natural wildlife of Karnataka!
