‘Disco’ song from Rajinikanth’s ‘Coolie’ breaks internet

As soon as the soundtrack was out, netizens went gaga over the tune. The song is trending on all music apps.

Anirudh Ravichander composed, arranged, and programmed the tune for the “Disco” song. Even the backing vocals are by the music director.

The “Vaa Vaa Pakkam Vaa” tune in the song was originally composed by Ilaiyaraaja.

Coolie marks the first collaboration between Rajinikanth and director Lokesh Kanagaraj.

Anirudh Ravichander earlier worked for Rajinikanth’s Petta (2019), Durbar (2020), and Jailer (2023).

He teamed up with director Lokesh for Vikram (2022) and Leo (2023).

Coolie teaser suggests that the flick is about smuggling (gold biscuits and gold watches).

It showcases a few high-octane action sequences with a villainous Rajinikanth in full form.

The Superstar looks stylish and seems to have had a blast playing the role.
