Dharma Productions to release Jr NTR’s ‘Devara’ in North India

It is to be noted that 'Devara' launches Janhvi Kapoor in the Telugu film industry, and also has Saif Ali Khan playing the antagonist.

Karan Johar's Dharma Productions will release Devara in North India

After the global hit RRR (2022), Jr NTR will next be seen in the two-part franchise Devara.

Directed by Koratala Siva, the first part of the film will be released for Dasara on 10 October.

Meanwhile, Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions announced on Wednesday, 10 April, that they partnered for the theatrical distribution rights of Devera in North India.

Sharing the same on X, team Dharma Productions wrote: “We are proud to announce our partnership for the north theatrical distribution rights for the next big cinematic experience in Indian cinema.”

It is to be noted that Devara will launch Bollywood actor Janhvi Kapoor in the Telugu film industry. It also has Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan playing the antagonist.

Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music for the Jr NTR-starrer.

Nandamuri Kalyan Ram’s NTR Arts and Mikkilineni Sudhakar’s Yuvasudha Arts are jointly bankrolling the flick.

Netflix bagged the digital rights of Devara last year.

However, industry insiders say the OTT giant acquired the rights for a whopping ₹155 crore in all languages.

Well, this could be the biggest OTT deal in the history of Tollywood.
