Director Arun Matheswaran’s much-awaited explosive action entertainer Captain Miller, featuring actor Dhanush in the lead, will be released for Pongal next year.
The film, which is being produced by one of Tamil cinema’s respected production houses, Sathya Jyothi Films, was originally supposed to be released on 15 December this year.
Produced by Sendhil Thyagarajan and Arjun Thyagarajan and presented by TG Thyagarajan of Sathya Jyothi Films, the film features Priyanka Arul Mohan as the female lead.
It also features a number of star actors apart from Dhanush, including Dr Shivarajkumar and Sundeep Kishen.

The production house has already confirmed that Lyca Productions has acquired the overseas theatrical distribution rights of the film.
Expectations from the film, which has music by GV Prakash and cinematography by Siddhartha Nuni, have been steadily rising.
Captain Miller, which will have editing by Nagooran, is a period film set in the 1930s-40s, and will be released simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi.
